Update timeline
- investigating May 07, 2025, 02:51 PM UTC
We are currently experiencing a network outage at our SYD2 Data Center. Technicians are able to confirm customer servers are online but there is no external network access. We are working on the issue and will have an update as soon as possible.
- identified May 07, 2025, 03:14 PM UTC
Engineers have identified an issue with the data centre interconnects in the SYD2 facility. Technicians have been dispatched to the facility to investigate further. Further updates to follow.

We have engaged our upstream providers for further investigation. The next update will be in 30 minutes.
- identified May 07, 2025, 04:13 PM UTC
The SYD2 data centre is connected to our Sydney network with dual diverse path fibre interconnects provided by separate infrastructure providers. At this time both paths are offline and we are working with both providers directly for updates and estimated time to restore.
- monitoring May 07, 2025, 04:37 PM UTC
At this time we can report that one path has been restored. Customer services are online. We are monitoring connectivity in and out of the data centre.
- monitoring May 07, 2025, 05:04 PM UTC
We are monitoring the data centre link and can see steady traffic flow and have confirmed that all customer services have been restored. Our engineers will continue to monitor services and the network. We are still working with our providers on restoring the diverse link, at this stage expect it to be operational by 5AM AEST.
- monitoring May 07, 2025, 05:13 PM UTC
We have confirmed that both paths to the SYD2 Data Center have now been restored. Our engineers will continue to monitor the network and provide updates as needed.
- resolved May 08, 2025, 08:17 AM UTC
Our monitoring continued throughout the day today. Both data centre interconnects have been stable and traffic is flowing normally. This incident will be marked as resolved.
