We experienced an infrastructure issue on our API that caused some users to experience an empty Calendar app on Android, with no events or calendars displayed. No data was lost, and all events and calendars remained safe. The underlying issue was resolved at 2026-06-30 19:38 UTC. If you have been affected and are still not seeing your data within the app, here are quick steps to resolve the issue: Tap the hamburger menu on the left side → Click Refresh If that was not sufficient, you can log out and log back in. All services are back online. Earlier today a small portion of our userbase had issues accessing some of our products. The disruption was caused by a partial power failure in Proton's Oslo datacenter which caused our system to be unable to tell if the datacenter was online or offline, requiring us to manually divert impacted traffic to other locations. The impact has since been mitigated, no user data was impacted, no email were lost and delivery is resuming.

**Incident Summary – Proton VPN VPN Servers Authentication Outage** **Date & Time:** 7:30 CEST – 10:30 CEST \(2025‑09‑10\) **Impact:** A subset of users experienced connection failures when connecting to Proton VPN servers. The issue prevented new sessions from being established. **Root Cause:** During a scheduled update to tighten our authentication policies, a manual configuration change was applied incorrectly. The erroneous setting unintentionally blocked valid credentials for a portion of the user base. **Resolution:** Once the misconfiguration was identified, the affected settings were rolled back and the authentication service was restored. All systems returned to normal operation by 10:30 CEST, and users were able to reconnect. **Status:** The incident is now closed. Services are fully operational, and no further impact is expected.
Proton Docs is experiencing a temporary issue affecting a very small number of documents, causing customers to be unable to edit their document. As a workaround, customers can copy the information in the affected document, and paste it into a new one. The team is working to fix the issue as quickly as possible and restore edit access to all affected documents.
