    We're investigating intermittent errors affecting the homepage and checkout for some visitors. Early signs point to an upstream Google Cloud networking incident in one of our data-center zones, which can cause requests to fail intermittently. Most requests are succeeding, and retrying typically works. We're monitoring closely and will post an update shortly.

    Error rates have returned to normal and we are no longer seeing failed requests. The intermittent errors earlier today were caused by an upstream Google Cloud networking incident affecting the region our services run in — not an issue with our application. Google has acknowledged the incident on their status dashboard: https://status.cloud.google.com/ — Our systems have recovered and we're continuing to monitor until Google marks the incident fully resolved.     Summary Between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM PST, we experienced an issue where some requests from Google were blocked by our firewall. Impact During this ~3-hour window, users may have experienced: • Issues with orders not being created • Problems setting up new forms Resolution The issue has been fully resolved. We have updated our firewall rules and systems are now operating normally. Next Steps We are actively monitoring to ensure continued stability.     PayPal and Venmo are experiencing major account outages starting at 8am PST. https://www.tomsguide.com/news/live/paypal-venmo-down-live-updates-outage-10-16 This may cause the Payable Checkout Page to load slowly, be non responsive, or not at all. It may also cause the Checkout Buttons not to load or appear on the checkout page.

    Checkout Buttons powered by PayPal are starting to load again on the Payable Checkout pages. If your customer was impacted by the earlier outage they can simply retry loading the checkout page again at this point.     A bug has been identified within Google App Scripts that is intermittently impacting the Payable add-on, users may experience elements not loading (Payable sidebar and pop-up windows). Multiple developers have reported the issue to Google, which may be tracked here: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/390105581 At this time the Payable checkout is not impacted, but users may not be able to setup new Payable forms or modify existing ones.

    Google is rolling out a change to Forms and a small number of users are reporting that the Forms' 'Share' button has been replaced with a 'Publish' button. This update impacts not only the appearance of Forms but the functionality as well. Users with this updated Forms interface are presently unable to perform the Payable function of Sync Theme. The Payable function mirrors your form's header image, title, description, and styling on the Payable checkout page. Affected users are currently unable to perform this step to update their forms' checkout page, or on setup of new forms are unable to push their theme customization to the checkout page. This does not impact the function of the Payable checkout for affected users.
