    Since the official support for the operating system is very limited / is no longer available, we will discontinue support for the image openSUSE 15.6 and we will remove it from our official product portfolio beginning on March 13th 2026. If you still need this image, you will still be able to find it until further notice in the "old_images" section of our Installimage script. You can find a guide to Installimage on Hetzner Docs here: https://docs.hetzner.com/robot/dedicated-server/operating-systems/installimage Important note: The operating systems in the "old_images" folder will not receive any updates from Hetzner Online, nor will we be able to offer any technical support for them.

    Currently, there are problems with SSH key login in the rescue system. If you select an SSH key when you enable the rescue system, it can happen that the SSH key nonetheless is not set up in the rescue system. Log in to the rescue system with ssh key is then not possible.
