Update timeline

  1. identified Nov 18, 2025, 11:52 AM UTC

Exclaimer engineers are aware of an issue impacting Cloudflare's Global Network. Cloudflare is used by Exclaimer to provide access to our services; this may impact access to our portal in all regions at this time. There is no impact on our signature imprinting through Client-side or Server-side at this time. More information will be provided as we continue to monitor the situation and look to mitigate the impact if possible.

  2. identified Nov 18, 2025, 11:53 AM UTC

We're continuing to monitor Cloudflare's services for any improvements.

  3. identified Nov 18, 2025, 12:24 PM UTC

We're continuing to monitor Cloudflare's services for any improvements that may enable us to take further mitigating measures. We can confirm through our monitoring that signatures are continuing to be applied as expected. If you are having issues with signatures not being applied, please reach out to our support team, who will be happy to help.

  4. monitoring Nov 18, 2025, 12:37 PM UTC

Cloudflare has advised that services are beginning to recover, but that pages may occasionally fail to load and provide an error as they remediate the issue fully. We are seeing that our Cloud portal is now loading as expected in most instances.

  5. monitoring Nov 18, 2025, 01:54 PM UTC

We have noted that accessibility to the site has degraded again, resulting in the portal being inaccessible at this time. We can confirm through our monitoring that signatures are continuing to be applied as expected. If you are having issues with signatures not being applied, please reach out to our support team, who will be happy to help.

  6. monitoring Nov 18, 2025, 04:01 PM UTC

Cloudflare has advised that a fix has been implemented, and they are now working on resolving outstanding issues. We have verified that our site and portal are loading as expected for an extended period of time, and have taken mitigation actions to minimize further impact. Our Engineers will continue to monitor for any signs of the portal or website becoming inaccessible again over the next few hours.

  7. resolved Nov 18, 2025, 06:11 PM UTC

Cloudflare has confirmed that all services are now operating normally. A full investigation is ongoing into the cause and will be available via Cloudflare's site once it has been completed. If you are still experiencing issues with Exclaimer, please reach out to our support team, who will be happy to help.

  8. postmortem Nov 19, 2025, 10:15 AM UTC

Cloudflare has provided a full Post Incident Review on their site, [which can be found here.](https://blog.cloudflare.com/18-november-2025-outage/) They have summarized the issue to be caused by an unexpected bug within some logic for a Bot Management feature that resulted in an abnormally high level of requests that caused the issue to look like a Distributed Denial of Service \(DDoS\) attack against Cloudflare, delaying the resolution time initially. Exclaimer’s Signature application continued to work as expected during the incident, with only web-based access to the Signature management portal impacted at times.
