We've found an issue within Sigma where, after migrating datasets, the existing published versions ARE affected in some cases. Customers will observe that filters are no longer applied to their existing reports. This is an unfortunate side effect of the Sigma migration from datasets to data models. Users have to take action to sync the report; otherwise, filters are not applied. This can be resolved by syncing your workbooks to the new data models, using the step-by-step instructions below: Syncing Your workbooks for the Insights Data Model Migration We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Please feel free to reach out to Crunchtime Support if you have any questions or if you encounter any further issues after completing the sync.

We are writing to provide an important update regarding the Crunchtime Insights data model migration that began Monday, June 22nd. During the migration process, we identified an unexpected technical bug within Sigma. While we have temporarily paused further migrations to prevent additional impact, we want to alert you to an issue that may be affecting your existing published reports right now. What is happening? Filters may no longer be applied to some of your existing, published reports. As a result, you or your users might currently see inflated numbers or unfiltered data within the affected datasets. The primary affected areas include Inventory datasets (such as Inventory v2, On Hand, and Actual/Theoretical) and various Utility datasets (such as Time Interval Lookups, Employee Utils, and Product Lookup). You can see the full list of datasets affected here . How to fix it (Action Required) To restore your filters and ensure your data displays accurately, users must manually sync their workbooks. Fortunately, the fix is quick and follows the same steps outlined in our original communication: Open the affected report/workbook. Click Edit . Click the Sync button located on the orange alert banner at the top of the screen. Click Publish . Note: In rare cases when this sync does not fix the issue, please reach out to support and we will be able to assist further. We sincerely apologize for this unexpected disruption and any inconvenience it causes your teams. Our technical teams are working closely with Sigma to resolve the root cause before we resume the rest of the migration. For a complete step-by-step breakdown and troubleshooting tips, please review our support documentation . If you encounter any issues during the sync process or have questions about your specific data, please reach out directly to Crunchtime Support for immediate assistance.
