A large print job caused a temporary slowdown in print job processing. All platform APIs and applications remained available throughout the event, with no lost print jobs or data, only a brief delay as the system caught up. Performance is now stable, and print jobs are processing normally.

**Root Cause Analysis - AM1 – Temporary Print Job Processing Delay** **Date:** June 11, 2025 **Time:** 6:44 AM – 7:10 AM PDT **Summary:** On June 11, a large batch of print jobs submitted led to a temporary slowdown in print job processing in the AM1 region. Despite this brief delay, the platform remained fully operational, no data was lost, and all print jobs were successfully processed after a short wait. **Root Cause:** The slowdown was caused by a sudden spike in volume, several print jobs submitted in a short time window. This temporarily impacted print job throughput, causing delays of approximately 7 minutes for some print jobs. **Resolution:** The system automatically recovered as the backlog of print jobs was processed. Platform monitoring and alerting systems correctly identified the delay and confirmed system stability. No intervention was needed to resume operations, and performance returned to normal within minutes. All print jobs were completed successfully. **Next Steps:** * Platform monitoring and alerting functioned as expected and will continue to be refined. * A platform enhancement has been initiated to improve visibility into delayed print jobs through improved logging.
