**AUTODESK EVENT ANALYSIS** **Incident Number:** COESOC-22126 **Incident Date:** June 16, 2026 **Summary** On June 16, 2026, between 4:30 AM PDT and 4:58 AM PDT, Autodesk experienced a service disruption that impacted customers opening projects on AutoCAD Plant 3D using Collaboration for AutoCAD Plant 3D service. **Impacted Services** • Collaboration for AutoCAD Plant 3D \(US, European Union, and Australia regions\) **Root Cause** • A recent change in the AutoCAD Plant 3D internal build introduced an issue that resulted in the application sending elevated request volumes to the service end point. • The high request volume saturated the shared rate limit of the endpoint, causing normal requests to fail intermittently and showing errors when opening projects. **Autodesk Actions** Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following: • Additional rate limiting controls on the affected service endpoint to prevent elevated traffic from a single source. • Improvements to monitoring and alerting to detect and respond to rate-limit saturation events more quickly, enabling faster identification and mitigation of similar issues in the future.
