**AUTODESK EVENT ANALYSIS** **Incident Date:** April 6, 2026 **Summary** On April 6, 2026, beginning at 3:31 AM PDT, a subset of Autodesk Build customers in the US and EU regions were unable to add members to their projects. When attempting to add a member, the role selection dropdown appeared empty, completely blocking project onboarding workflows. The issue persisted until April 7, 2026, at approximately 4:30 AM PDT, when it was resolved. **Root Cause** * A product update was released that changed how members are managed in hubs with Build Essentials or Data Management Essentials subscriptions only or hubs with no linked subscriptions. * The change required specific roles however not all hubs had these roles when the change went into effect. * There was no automatic detection or reconciliation for these missing roles. * Autodesk resolved the issue by manually fixing the reported hubs and creating an automated detection & reconciliation process. **Autodesk Actions** Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following: * Manually updated all reported hubs to have the necessary roles for user management. * Created a mechanism to automatically detect and reconcile the hub at the point of user management actions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
