Resolved after 33 minutes, affecting Online API, on July 2, 2026.
The issue has been identified and mitigated. A recent rollout was causing payment confirmation redirects to be incorrectly blocked by a firewall rule. No payments were lost during this incident; the issue only affected the confirmation page displayed to customers after payment had already been processed. We apologise for any inconvenience.

We are investigating an issue where some Afterpay customers on Shopify in Australia are seeing an error page after completing their payment. Payments are processing successfully, but the confirmation page is not loading correctly for some customers, which may lead them to believe the payment did not go through. We are actively investigating the root cause and working toward a resolution.
