      **Incident Summary** On June 4th, from 11:00 to 11:40 AM, we had a production issue that hit some of our clients. Zūm Rails lets clients create a user and a transaction in a single call — and that's the flow that broke. The bug only fired when the user already existed in the system. Since some clients pass user data on every transaction request regardless of whether the user is new, a lot of calls failed, specifically for Interac payments, which is why it was identified as an Interac issue at first. Each one came back with an error, no transaction created, and clients had to retry. No funds were moved at all, and no transactions are inconsistent. **Resolution & Prevention** We caught it fast and resolved it by 11:40 AM. Still — 40 minutes is too long, and we're sorry for the disruption. After a proper post-mortem with the team, we added a targeted check in our deployment pipeline that exercises this exact scenario before anything ships. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Any transactions that were not created because of this error may not be recreated. If you already retried after 11:40 AM EST, they should have moved accordingly and thus no further action is needed. Thank you

      We are currently investigating an issue where some merchants are not receiving their Interac transaction funds. We are working with our partner bank as well as Interac and so we will share updates as they arrive. Thank you for your understanding

      Please be advised that we have confirmed that Interac experienced an issue which resulted in transactions unable to be deposited from 11:15AM to 11:30AM EST as well as 11:35AM to 12:15PM EST. Zum Rail systems remained operational during this time and therefore we have confirmed that this is an Interac issue. We have confirmed that transactions are moving accordingly now, however, we are monitoring to ensure there are no other incidents.       We are happy to report that we received confirmation that the issue has been fully resolved. Again, there was an Interac outage from 11:15AM to 11:30AM EST as well as 11:35AM to 12:15PM EST, but they have confirmed that all is operational.       Please be advised that our bank processor for Interac (Option 1) has identified an issue which is resulting in Interac transactions to be stuck in progress. This started roughly at 11:00 AM EST and they have already started a fix for the issue. Please note that while the transactions are stuck in progress, our bank provider has confirmed that they should continue once the fix is deployed and therefore please do not recreate your transactions at this time. Thank you for your understanding and we will continue to update you as we get more notifications of their progress.

      We are currently experiencing issues with Interac e-Transfer processing. After investigation, we have confirmed that the root cause lies with our banking partner and Interac itself. They have identified the issue and are actively working to resolve it. Although the issue originates outside of Zūm Rails' infrastructure, we are actively monitoring the situation and are in direct contact with PTC to accelerate resolution. This incident affects clients using the Interac URL payment method only. All other payment rails are operating normally. We will provide a further update within 1 hour or sooner if the situation changes. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
