UpCloud experienced a minor incident on December 16, 2025 affecting ES-MAD1: Managed Kubernetes and ES-MAD1: Other, lasting 8h 52m. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

We have identified a network-related issue affecting services in the ES-MAD1 region. New clusters for the Managed Kubernetes service in ES-MAD1 are unable to be deployed and will receive an error message when attempting to do so. Existing clusters are currently operational and not expected to be impacted. Connectivity from ES-MAD1 to the Managed Object Storage via private endpoints is currently failing. Access via public endpoints remains fully functional. We are working to restore connectivity and resolve the situation as soon as possible.
