Type: Incident Duration: 9 days, 10 hours and 10 minutes Affected Components: Reward redemptions Jul 24, 12:27:46 GMT+0 - Investigating - An increased share of recipients are seeing errors when adding Virtual Visa cards to Apple Pay or Google Pay, usually a "contact card issuer" message or a verification code that doesn't arrive. Our card issuer is working with Visa to resolve the issue. Most cards add to wallets normally, and this doesn't affect the card itself: recipients can always pay by entering their card details at checkout. Sep 30, 22:37:16 GMT+0 - Resolved - After working with our card issuer and Visa, we've confirmed the remaining errors are expected behavior rather than an outage. Apple can decline requests to add a card to Apple Wallet, and issuers can't override that decision. Google Pay wasn't affected. Most cards still add to Apple Wallet normally, and the card itself works as usual, so recipients can always pay by entering their card details at checkout. Soon, recipients whose card can't be added will receive an email or text with alternatives.
