Type: Maintenance Duration: 8 hours Affected Components: Chicago Dec 1, 16:00:00 GMT+0 - Identified - We are notifying you of an upcoming infrastructure upgrade designed to improve the performance, reliability, and long-term scalability of your hosting services. On December 1st, beginning at approximately 10:00 AM CST (UTC -6), all servers will be physically migrated from our current datacenter in West Chicago (SBA Edge) to the CoreSite CH1 datacenter in downtown Chicago. CoreSite CH1 provides enhanced network connectivity, increased power redundancy, and a higher level of physical security, all of which will contribute to a stronger and more resilient hosting environment. We anticipate approximately 6 to 8 hours of downtime, which will involve removing all servers from the current datacenter cabinets, transporting the servers to the new datacenter, and then installing the servers in the new datacenter cabinets. Our team will work diligently to keep the downtime to a minimum by completing the migration as quickly and as safely as possible. No action is required on your part. All current services, IP addresses, and configurations will remain unchanged. If you require that your service remain online for this migration, we can temporarily (or permanently if requested) move your service to a different datacenter location of your choice, such as Dallas, before the physical Chicago migration begins. Please contact us by November 24th if you are interested in this option, which will require an IP/DNS change but less than an hour of downtime that can be scheduled at your convenience. Please open a support ticket if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. Dec 1, 16:00:01 GMT+0 - Identified - Maintenance is now in progress Dec 1, 22:30:30 GMT+0 - Identified - Everything is progressing well and all servers have been transported to the new datacenter. All web hosting and VPS nodes are now installed in the new cabinet and back online (WC-S1, S2, K1, and K2). Dedicated Servers are now being installed and should gradually start to come back online shortly. Dec 2, 00:00:00 GMT+0 - Completed - Maintenance has completed successfully
