Update timeline

1. scheduled Sep 11, 2014, 01:25 PM UTC

   We will be migrating the entire platform to a better infrastructure which provides us more flexibility/scalability. During the migration, the platform might be temporarily unavailable while we move the different components/services over; we do not expect long, or extended downtimes though.

2. scheduled Sep 12, 2014, 08:00 PM UTC

   Maintenance will begin as scheduled in 60 minutes.

3. in progress Sep 12, 2014, 09:00 PM UTC

   We are starting our maintenance. We expect a downtime of about 15 minutes.

4. in progress Sep 12, 2014, 09:16 PM UTC

   The first part of the maintenance is completed and everything should be working normally again.

   The data has been migrated and is synced with the new architecture. We are switching to the new system now, and expect a downtime of 30 minutes to an hour during which the website will not be reachable; new inspection cannot be scheduled during that time.

   This step of the maintenance is completed, too. We are temporarily redirecting traffic to a temporary subdomain until DNS changes have propagated. This might affect services that do not support a 307 redirect. We are also in the process of verifying that no regressions have been introduced. Inspections should run normally again.    At this point, we are discontinuing status updates. We have verified that all major functions work correctly. We are aware of a couple of minor issues that we are working on. If you find something unusual, please let us know via the support system or [email protected]. Thanks everyone!
