Resolved after 1 day, affecting Europe region, on October 25, 2026.
On 25.10.2026 between 18:01 and 18:23 UTC, some stores in the EU region saw elevated error rates on the GraphQL API, mostly HTTP 503 responses, along with slower responses. A sudden traffic spike triggered a bug in Saleor’s OIDC authentication that caused a large number of unnecessary database writes and overloaded a shared database. Error rates were back to normal for all stores by 18:23 UTC. We’ve identified the bug and are preparing to roll out the long-term fix (saleor/saleor#19960: https://github.com/saleor/saleor/pull/19960) to all affected Saleor versions. We are sorry for the disruption.
