Spam Booking Engine reservations were created using previously exposed guest data and publicly available email addresses, in the same way a guest would book on the Booking Engine. We closed the affected reservations in bulk this morning. If any new ones appear, you can cancel them. We are tightening the Booking Engine payment check so reservations on prepaid rates cannot skip payment, and adding further protections such as obscuring guest information in online check-in.

We are aware of suspected spam reservations created through the Booking Engine, including bookings that appear to bypass the prepayment provider. We are actively working on this.
