Update timeline

  1. investigating Apr 13, 2023, 02:27 PM UTC

We are aware of an issue that prevents customers from running Public Folder Migrations in all regions. The product is affected by a cloud service disruption, and we are already engaged with the cloud service provider. We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing and will report back soon.

  2. identified Apr 14, 2023, 04:06 AM UTC

Our Cloud Service Provider identified the issue and is working to resolve this issue as soon as they can. We apologize for any inconvenience this outage is causing, and we are working with our Cloud Service Provider to expedite the fix for this as soon as possible. We will continue to update this status as soon as we have further information from our Cloud Service Provider.

  3. monitoring Apr 14, 2023, 03:13 PM UTC

Our Cloud Service Provider started to deploy a fix to resolve the service degradation. However, they informed us that it could take a few days for it to be rolled out across all tenants globally. We will continue to update this status as soon as we have further information from our Cloud Service Provider.

  4. monitoring Apr 14, 2023, 09:17 PM UTC

We want to reassure customers that the service disruption only affects public folder migrations and other Exchange Online migrations are not impacted. We will continue to update this status as soon as we have further information from our Cloud Service Provider.

  5. monitoring Apr 17, 2023, 01:23 PM UTC

Our Cloud Service Provider is still deploying the fix, and we can confirm that the issue has been resolved for some impacted customers. However, they informed us that the rollout is still continuing across tenants globally, so service disruptions in some tenants may still be present until fully completed. We will continue to monitor our services, and Quest will contact our Cloud Service Provider for a root cause analysis that can be shared later with customers.

  6. monitoring Apr 17, 2023, 07:29 PM UTC

Our Cloud Service Provider is still deploying the fix, and informed us that the rollout had reached 80% of completion. Therefore the service disruptions in some tenants may still be present until the fix has been globally applied to all tenants. We will continue to update this status as soon as we have further information from our Cloud Service Provider.

  7. resolved Apr 20, 2023, 01:01 PM UTC

Our Cloud Service Provider is still deploying the fix and informed us that the rollout had reached 93% of completion. Therefore the service disruptions in some tenants may still be present until the fix has been globally applied to all tenants. However we can confirm that the issue has been resolved for most of our impacted customers. We will mark this incident as resolved, and our support team will continue to work with customers that still experience this issue. Quest will contact our Cloud Service Provider for a root cause analysis that can be shared later with customers.
