We identified a reduction in Google Ad Manager targeting rates on web deployments at 08.00UTC 26/07/2019 which appears to have affected all customers using our Google Ad Manager integration. After investigation, our engineering team identified the root cause being an unannounced change made by Google to their publisher API (GPT), which meant that Permutive segments were no longer being accepted as valid targeting values. This change led to reduced targeting rates on Permutive deployments between 18.00UTC 25/07/2019 and 10.00UTC 26/07/2019. Our engineering team deployed a change to our Web SDK for all customers by 10.00UTC 26/07/2019, which changes the format of Permutive targeting values sent into Google Ad Manager and fully resolves this issue. Targeting rates have now returned to normal and our team will continue to monitor.
