Today at 00:21 local time (CEST) our monitoring systems detected a network outage in our core network in Frankfurt. We quickly investigated the issue and found out that a session to one of our upstream providers got lost. Due to multi-redundancy the traffic was automatically distributed to other upstream providers so the impact was barely even noticeable. We got in contact with the upstream and were able to re-establish the session and recover full redundancy.
