Update timeline

  1. investigating Apr 13, 2022, 11:44 AM UTC

We are currently experiencing a drop in traffic from in-cab Lightfoot devices to our servers. As a result, the tracking information displayed on the Fleet Management Portal may be out-of-date. The Lightfoot devices will retain their data and transmit this in when possible so that no data will be lost.

  2. identified Apr 13, 2022, 12:10 PM UTC

The issue has been identified as a cellular network outage, the network provider's urgent investigation is ongoing. Multiple IoT systems are known to be affected.

  3. monitoring Apr 13, 2022, 01:11 PM UTC

We are seeing traffic from devices flowing in again. There may still be a delay in real-time vehicle/driver positions on the Fleet Management portal while the Lightfoot servers work to clear the backlog of incoming data.

  4. monitoring Apr 13, 2022, 06:34 PM UTC

The Lightfoot servers have finished processing the backlog of data and everything is now back to normal, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
