Copper experienced a minor incident on June 9, 2026 affecting Google Sync and CRM for Gmail Chrome Extension and 1 more component, lasting 6d 4h. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

We are aware some users are having difficulty logging in to the Copper Chrome Extensions. We've identified the issue and we are working on the solution.

We have identified a recent Google Security update is preventing some users from accepting Google Permissions. We are actively working with Google to implement the resolution. This may temporarily affect access to the Chrome Extension, Google Sheets Add-on, and Google Mail syncing to Copper. Affected users can access Copper directly at app.copper.com

June 11 - 1:40PM ET ✅ Google Sheets Add-on - The issue blocking some users from accessing the Google Sheets add-on has been resolved. Affected users should now be able to accept permissions and Import Data as normal. ⚠️ Chrome Extensions & Google Sync - We are working directly with Google to remove the unexpected security block error some users receive when connecting to Google. Google has informed us this issue has been escalated and they are in the process of validating our submission to resolve this as soon as possible.

Google has resolved the unverified issue causing some users to have trouble accessing accepting Google Permissions and accessing the Chrome Extension. We are investigating a persisting issue with the Copper Google Sheets Add-on resulting in some users unable to Import Data.
