- investigating Nov 21, 2025, 04:36 PM UTC
We are continuing to investigate this issue which is caused by requests from many Indonesian users to res.cloudinary.com being blocked. For affected customers on our Advanced plan or higher, you can deliver assets via a private CDN hostname specific to your product environment and it's also possible to set up delivery via a custom hostname. In both cases, this should allow Indonesian users to access your media delivery URLs. For customers on other plans, it may be possible to temporarily change your delivery hostname while we investigate the issue. Please contact our support team for more information.
- investigating Nov 21, 2025, 06:47 PM UTC
To assist affected customers, we've temporarily enabled private CDN delivery for many customers with significant traffic from Indonesia. Assets may be accessible via your private CDN hostname while we continue to investigate the blocking of res.cloudinary.com. Cloudinary SDKs can be updated to create URLs in that format by adding "private_cdn: true" to the configuration: https://cloudinary.com/documentation/advanced_url_delivery_options#sdk_configuration_for_private_cdns_and_custom_delivery_hostnames_cnames
