Service Disruption Report – Web Unlocker & SERP On 06-Apr-2025, from 00:00 to 02:00, many of our proxy servers were unable to connect to a core decision making server. Timeline (UTC): - 00:00 - The many of our unlocker proxy servers started seeing a loop of connection errors. - 00:30 - The Bright Data Web Unlocker team identified the networking issue. - 00:39 - An updated networking config was committed and releases began to repair the connections. - 02:00 - The networking fixes went to production and service began to recover. Timeline (UTC): - 08:38:20 – An internal server disruption caused both networks to malfunction, leading to a 25% traffic drop. - 08:52:00 – A second disruption resulted in an additional 65% traffic drop. - 09:11:20 – The Bright Data network team identified the issue. - 09:17:00 – Servers underwent a short maintenance to overcome the problem. - 09:24:00 – Datacenter and ISP networks fully recovered.
