  1. identified Jul 17, 2025, 02:39 PM UTC

We are aware of an issue with the Anaconda Terms of Service acceptance being prompted for in some continuous integration (CI) environments. This behavior is not intended. We are sorry for the issues this is causing in the affected environments, and are actively working on a resolution. You can alternatively set the CONDA_PLUGINS_AUTO_ACCEPT_TOS environment variable to "yes" to accept the Terms of Service automatically. You can find the full Terms of Service at https://www.anaconda.com/legal and the conda-anaconda-tos plugin documentation at https://github.com/anaconda/conda-anaconda-tos. If you want to contact us directly about this, please write an email to [email protected].

  2. identified Jul 17, 2025, 02:41 PM UTC

We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.

  3. identified Jul 17, 2025, 05:49 PM UTC

We are implementing a fix to expand the types of CI environments detected. We will update the status when the fix is available. For Docker or OCI containers in CI/CD environments, please refer to the documentation in https://github.com/anaconda/conda-anaconda-tos#docker-in-cicd-environments for how to accept the terms of service in a container. As previously mentioned, the CONDA_PLUGINS_AUTO_ACCEPT_TOS environment variable can be set to "yes" in any environment to accept the Terms of Service, which are available at https://www.anaconda.com/legal.

  4. identified Jul 18, 2025, 07:33 PM UTC

We have implemented a fix to expand the types of CI environments detected by the plugin. This fix is included in conda-anaconda-tos 0.2.1 which has been included in Anaconda Distribution 2025.06-1 and Miniconda 25.5.1-1 For Docker or OCI containers in CI/CD environments, please refer to the documentation in https://github.com/anaconda/conda-anaconda-tos#docker-in-cicd-environments for how to accept the terms of service in a container. To automatically accept the Terms of Service (https://www.anaconda.com/legal) in any environment, set the environment variable CONDA_PLUGINS_AUTO_ACCEPT_TOS=yes.
