Update timeline
- identified Dec 07, 2021, 10:42 PM UTC
This is a proactive notification about a possible future outage. We have been notified by AWS and its services providers that some systems are degraded. https://status.aws.amazon.com/ AWS and services providers are working to resolve this issue before 08DEC 2021, 02:00 AM UTC. If this issue is not resolved before 02:00 AM UTC, administrators will not be able to login to Control and end users will not be able to launch new non-persistent desktop sessions. Existing end user sessions will not be impacted, and end users will be able to launch persistent desktops. At 2pm PT AWS reported that they have begun mitigating the issue and are seeing significant recovery, but we wanted to give our customers as much of a heads up as soon as we possibly could so they could prepare accordingly. We will continue to update this status over the next few hours until resolution.
- monitoring Dec 07, 2021, 10:55 PM UTC
AWS has mitigated the underlying issue that caused some network devices in the US-East-1 Region to be impaired. They are seeing improvement in availability across most AWS services. We continue to monitor the situation and will update once we have confirmation that there will be no negative impact to Workspot Services.
