Dear Customer, We are writing to share an important update regarding the evolving landscape of security patching. Microsoft has recently announced that due to advancements in AI-driven security research, the volume and frequency of security updates both on the regular Patch Tuesday schedule and through occasional out-of-band releases are increasing. As the frequency of updates increases, keeping your operating systems and software current is more critical than ever. To ensure your Windows Dedicated Server environment remains secure, we ask that you be prepared to manage and apply security patches to your servers promptly as they are released. Staying current with these updates is essential to protecting your infrastructure against emerging threats. For more details, refer A note on patch Tuesday (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/msrc/blog/2026/05/a-note-on-patch-tuesday) To help maintain the security and stability of your environment, we recommend the following best practices: Review and apply the latest Windows security updates and patches as soon as practical after their release to address known vulnerabilities and security risks; and Strengthen your security posture by enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA), using dedicated administrative accounts, limiting privileged access, and implementing other recommended security controls. These measures can significantly reduce the risk of compromise and help maintain the security of your systems. Please note that the Microsoft patch release will require a server reboot for the updates to be fully applied. After installing the patches, kindly ensure that the server is restarted at the earliest opportunity to complete the update process and avoid any pending update-related issues.'’’ Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our Support team.

We are actively tracking an issue where some customers may receive duplicate copies of incoming emails when the messages originate from Gmail or Google Workspace accounts. After a thorough investigation of our mail infrastructure, we have verified that this behavior is not caused by our hosting platform, local mail servers, or internal network delivery. The duplicate messages are generated during the external sending process from the Google network and have been replicated during independent testing. What this means for you: -No action is required: You do not need to alter your email settings or open a support ticket. -Email integrity is secure: No data is being lost, and email delivery remains fully functional aside from the duplicate copies. Our Approach: While a manual server-side modification exists that could suppress these duplicates, implementing it presents a significant risk to overall mail reliability. Forcing this workaround could unintentionally block legitimate mail or increase the risk of valid messages being marked as spam. To protect your email delivery performance, we are letting standard delivery protocols handle the messages naturally. We are continuously monitoring inbound mail traffic and tracking updates regarding Google's sending behavior and third-party integration updates. We appreciate your patience and will provide further updates as soon as more technical details become available.

This incident is related to a recently identified security vulnerability in cPanel & WHM login. cPanel would release a new security patch tonight to fix all the identified vulnerabilities and we have planned to install the same on all our servers as soon as released. For self-managed VPS and Dedicated Servers, we recommend running the force upcp script (cPanel version update script) after 12:30 PM EST. Given the nature of this vulnerability, and our immediate priority is to secure data and prevent any impact, we are blocking certain access (WHM/cPanel/Webmail) temporarily, until further notice. Your email functionality continues to work (IMAP/POP), we request to use email clients to access your emails in the meantime. We will keep this post updated once we install the patch on respective servers. Thank you for your understanding and support.

The temporary restrictions on WHM, cPanel, and Webmail access have now been removed, and services should be accessible normally. Our senior system admins continue to install new security patch, and monitor the servers in background. As an additional precaution, SSH and SFTP access (ports 22/2222) remains temporarily restricted while further security validation and patching activities continue. Workaround for VPS & Dedicated customers: Access the server terminal via WHM >> Terminal: These steps are being taken proactively to help safeguard customer environments while additional security updates are reviewed and applied. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
