We have identified the cause of the outage as a fibre strike in central Tauranga. Site evaluations are continuing and a plan is being developed for restoration of services.

Our team have completed the site evaluation and found the damage to be more extensive than originally thought. A plan for restoration has been determined with the first phase of repairs tonight, and the remaining repairs completed tomorrow. We will provide further updates on Wednesday as we progress through the repair.
