Portal Issues
Timeline · 4 updates
- investigating Nov 26, 2025, 09:31 PM UTC
We have received notifications of errors accessing the Trustgrid portal. We are investigating an will report back when we have more information.
- investigating Nov 26, 2025, 09:48 PM UTC
At this point we believe the issue is limited to the Trustgrid internal authentication service. Users utilizing portal.trustgrid.io are impacted but those using an independent IDP (Okta, AzureAd, etc) are not impacted. We are working to bring the authentication service back online.
- monitoring Nov 26, 2025, 10:05 PM UTC
We determined the issue was related to a reference to a dependency that is no longer needed. AWS issues caused the internal authentication service to fail, but new instances could not start because that dependency no longer exists. We were able to remove the reference and have brought the service back online.
- resolved Nov 26, 2025, 10:17 PM UTC
We confirmed that the system is again allowing logins via the Trustgrid authentication service and all appears stable at this time.
Cloudflare outage impacting Upgrade repository
Timeline · 2 updates
- monitoring Nov 18, 2025, 03:51 PM UTC
The Cloudflare network outage has the potential to prevent appliance node upgrades and agent node installs/upgrades from completing successfully. We are monitoring Cloudflare's status page and will update once it is resolved. In the meantime we recommend avoiding triggering upgrades or deploying new agents.
- resolved Nov 18, 2025, 06:00 PM UTC
Cloudflare has resolved their issues and we have confirmed the repository service is functioning.
Flow Logs unavailable
Timeline · 6 updates
- monitoring Oct 20, 2025, 02:32 PM UTC
We are currently unable to process and display flow logs due to an ongoing issue affecting AWS services. Our systems remain operational otherwise. We are monitoring the situation closely, and flow log processing will automatically resume once AWS resolves the underlying issue.
- monitoring Oct 20, 2025, 03:16 PM UTC
In addition to the disruption affecting flow log processing, we are observing intermittent errors within the Trustgrid Portal. These typically resolve after refreshing the page. We continue to monitor AWS’s ongoing incident, and normal operation of both flow logs and portal access is expected to resume once their issues are resolved.
- monitoring Oct 20, 2025, 03:57 PM UTC
Due to ongoing AWS instability, we recommend pausing any non-essential configuration changes in the Trustgrid Portal. This will help avoid potential errors or incomplete updates until AWS services stabilize. We’ll provide another update once conditions improve.
- monitoring Oct 20, 2025, 06:22 PM UTC
We’re continuing to monitor the ongoing AWS service issues impacting flow log processing and causing intermittent portal errors. The situation is largely unchanged. As a precaution, please avoid any non-essential configuration changes until AWS stabilizes. We’ll share another update as soon as we have new information.
- monitoring Oct 20, 2025, 10:35 PM UTC
AWS has reported continued signs of recovery, but we are keeping this incident open until their issue is fully resolved. No further updates are planned unless the situation changes or AWS confirms full restoration.
- resolved Oct 21, 2025, 12:31 AM UTC
AWS has reported their incident as resolved, and we have not observed any related errors for some time. Flow log processing and portal functionality have remained stable, so we are marking this incident as resolved.
Control Plane Outage due to AWS issues
Timeline · 1 update
- resolved Oct 20, 2025, 10:38 AM UTC
AWS experienced major issues in the US-East-1 region that caused the Trustgrid control plane to become inaccessible.
502 Bad Gateway Errors on Login
Timeline · 3 updates
- monitoring Jul 01, 2025, 07:31 PM UTC
Earlier today, we received reports of multiple users encountering intermittent 502 Bad Gateway errors when attempting to log in. In most cases, the errors were temporary, though it’s possible some users experienced persistent issues. Initial investigation points to an issue with the AWS WAF configuration as the likely cause. We have applied updates to the WAF settings and are actively monitoring the system to ensure stability. We’ll continue to track for any recurrence and will follow up with additional details once our investigation is complete.
- monitoring Jul 01, 2025, 08:00 PM UTC
We continue to monitor the situation but our load balancers have not seen a 502 error since the configuration change.
- resolved Jul 01, 2025, 08:18 PM UTC
This incident has been resolved.
Nodes showing as disconnected
Timeline · 4 updates
- investigating Feb 21, 2025, 07:20 PM UTC
We are seeing a large number of disconnected nodes which seems similar to the event on February 14th. We are actively investigating the issue.
- monitoring Feb 21, 2025, 07:27 PM UTC
The issue appears to have resolved. We have confirmed the same control plane service had an issue as on February 14 and we are confirming the same root cause. For clarification, there is no indication that this impacting data plane traffic. Only connectivity to the Trustgrid control plane.
- monitoring Feb 21, 2025, 07:44 PM UTC
We are still seeing a large number of nodes showing disconnected after the control plane service stablized. We are taking steps to attempt to resolve this.
- resolved Feb 21, 2025, 08:21 PM UTC
At this time we believe all nodes have corrected their control plane connection status. We have a fix for the issue that is causing the backend service to crash and it will be deployed to production in a cloud release early next week.
