    ProPay became aware of a situation involving erroneous merchant descriptors for American Express transactions. The source of the issue was identified and a fix was implemented. Transactions processed between 3/6/2024 to 3/21/2024 were primarily impacted. ProPay apologizes for any related disruptions. They continue to review the situation to 1) identify additional opportunities to improve the merchant + cardholder experience and 2) prevent a recurrence of this type of issue.
