Funding is delayed for Citizens Bank merchants as well as DayCheck employee tips (due to AWS Outage)
SpotOn experienced a major incident on October 20, 2025 affecting Deposits (Worldpay), lasting 3h 53m. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

The AWS Outage continues to impact SpotOn's funding distributions. While SpotOn has received the funds to disburse, we have been working with our 3rd party disbursement firm to distribute the funds but they and their bank have been impacted by the AWS outage. They are currently triaging the situation on their end with the goal of getting all merchants their funds today. More details to come as the situation continues to develop.

Any merchants who are on accelerated ACH funding will not receive their funds today (we are now targeting a deposit of tomorrow, 10/21/25). We are still investigating with our third party distributor to deposit funds for any merchants on RTP funding. Employees that receive tips through DayCheck will experience transfer delays.

DayCheck tip transfers are operational again, including both new transfers and the execution of those that were pending during the outage.

We received confirmation that the disbursements from today have succeeded. Accelerated ACH merchants will have rolled over to Standard ACH and will receive their weekend funds tomorrow. RTP merchants would have already received their funds in their account.
