    We are currently experiencing an outage where our application is not loading for users. This issue is caused by an ongoing service disruption with Amazon CloudFront, which is impacting our ability to serve application content. We are actively monitoring the situation and working with AWS to understand the scope and resolution timeline of the CloudFront issue. Update from AWS: https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status

    AWS has reported early signs of recovery, and is continuing to work toward full recovery. At this moment the SchooLinks app is loading for many users. Our team is actively monitoring infrastructure health and will provide another update when this outage has been fully resolved.

    We are currently aware of an ongoing outage with the Common App platform. This is an external service issue and is not within our direct control. As a result, users may experience errors or disruptions when attempting to access or submit information via Common App through our platform. Our systems remain fully operational, workflows within College Application Manager that rely on Common App may be delayed or unavailable until their service is restored. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as more information becomes available from the Common App team. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Per Common App this issue has been resolved. Common App had brief interruption related to a pre-deadline release around 10:20 AM ET that lasted for about 20 minutes. Recommenders should not have any further problems with form submission. If a recommender did try to submit forms during that period, they should review the status of the form to make sure it was successfully submitted.

    On January 30, 2025, from 7:30 AM to 11:02 AM (CT), students who had not yet completed their onboarding were unable to access the SchooLinks platform, encountering a white screen upon logging in. Previously onboarded students were not affected. The issue was traced to an implementation error in our logic for tracking student progress through the onboarding process. Once identified, the SchooLinks Engineering team quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem, restoring full platform functionality by 11:02 AM.

    On Jan 8th, from 9:19 to 9:28 AM CDT, our team identified reports of degraded performance for the Course Planning module. Initial investigations suggest this may be caused by increased database query latency. The Course Planning module and the rest of the platform have been fully operational since 9:29 AM CDT. Our team has deployed a fix which we're presently monitoring.

    On October 22, 2023, from 11:22 until 11:55 am we experienced a delay in processing asynchronous or background tasks which may have created delays or errors in the performance of some background tasks such generating reports, indicator evaluation and data upload processing. This did not cause full errors or failures but instead just long delays. This was resolved at 11:55 am.

    On 9/26/2024, from 6:23 AM to 6:59 AM, the SchooLinks platform experienced slower response times and partial unavailability for some users. The issue was traced to a database misconfiguration that occurred during a scheduled maintenance window which impacted query execution and performance. SchooLinks Engineering worked quickly to diagnose and rectify the issue. The platform was stabilized, and service was fully restored by 6:59 AM Central Time
