Update timeline

  1. investigating May 19, 2025, 05:16 PM UTC

We are currently investigating this issue.

  2. identified May 19, 2025, 07:21 PM UTC

Our datacenter has confirmed that three geographically dispersed carrier outages occurred today within their Northeast region due to fiber cuts. Service has been restored on one of the three and they are closely monitoring repair efforts by carriers. Connectivity between their datacenters in the Northeast, including dedicated ICX connections, - including Polk, Tek Park, Valley Forge and Baltimore - are still experiencing high latency communicating to data centers outside the region as traffic is being routed around those connections.

  3. resolved May 20, 2025, 03:17 PM UTC

Our datacenter has received a final update from Lumen regarding the multiple circuit failures impacting the Northeast region. The circuit has been repaired, a fiber fault in Bolivar, PA impacted client services. Lumen Field Operations repaired the affected fiber, restoring services to a stable state. Datacenter Engineers have confirmed all circuit connectivity has restored and Lumen Network Operations now reports this service impact as resolved.
