    We are experiencing minor service degradation with Interac Request Money for transactions requiring sender intervention. Specifically, this issue impacts situations where: An Interac Request Money transaction fails during the automated process. The transaction then switches to the manual flow, where the sender needs to enter the recipient's information manually. While you may be able to successfully initiate transactions, they may remain in a pending status for longer than usual. To minimize customer impact, we have proactively increased the timeout window for pending transactions from 2 hours to 4 hours. This means your transactions may take longer to complete but are more likely to succeed. We have identified that the issue originates within Interac's system. Our team is closely communicating with our banking partners and Interac to investigate and resolve the issue quickly. This means some users who initiate a Request Money transaction requiring manual completion may encounter issues. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as they become available. In the meantime, users who initiate Request Money transactions requiring intervention may experience: Delays in completing manual transactions. Error messages during the manual completion process. We recommend that users experiencing issues try again later. If the issue persists, don't hesitate to contact our support team for assistance.
