Is Ongoing Warehouse down?

One of our server sites must perform an urgent security update to their firewall service during the course of today. Due to the urgent nature of this update, the maintenance will begin as soon as the security patch becomes available from the vendor. As the exact release time has not yet been confirmed, we are currently unable to provide a specific time for the maintenance. A brief network interruption may occur during the update.

We have identified a severe but temporary network issue that affected Ongoing WMS between ~09:50-10:00 CEST. During this time both regular users and API users may have gotten unexpected errors. The network is now healthy and no further disruptions are expected. Our team has identified the cause but are still working to identify the full impact of the incident.

Between 2026-10-01 ~14:00 and 2026-10-02 09:00 (CEST), a subset of servers in our secondary site were serving an incomplete TLS certificate chain for ongoingsystems.se, causing certificate validation failures for some clients. This issue only affected integrations that connected directly to servers in our secondary site, which is an uncommon setup. Integrations using api.ongoingsystems.se, the recommended subdomain for integrations, were not affected and continued to present a valid certificate chain throughout the incident. We are reviewing our certificate renewal process to prevent this from happening again.

A service provider has reported an issue on their side, we are moving traffic to a redundant server site to ensure availability. FTP-based integrations (rarely used) in production WMS applications will experience issues until this is resolved.

The connectivity problems were traced to a transient error within our internal network infrastructure. The issue was temporary and resolved automatically, without any human intervention. Thanks to redundancy in our networking equipment only a subset of our clients were affected and many requests continued to be served normally throughout the incident. We are reviewing this event to better understand its cause and to identify improvements that will further strengthen the resilience of our infrastructure. We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your understanding.
