    We are aware of an issue affecting access to Noteable for some users. This is related to a wider University of Edinburgh network routing incident impacting multiple central services. The incident began at approximately 11:15 BST on Thursday 23 April. Access may be intermittent while this incident is ongoing. University IT is currently investigating this as a Major Incident and working with external partners to restore services fully. The Major Incident team have seen some services restore as of 12:07. We will provide further updates on Statuspage as soon as more information is available.

    Update: Access was restored at 12:07 BST and the wider University major incident was closed at 16:00; Noteable is operating normally again, though the underlying University alert remains open overnight pending root cause confirmation from Jisc.

    During the evening 21/02, a backend process stopped after running out of memory. The process was restarted on Sunday 22 February at approximately 19:00, and service access returned to normal. Some users may have experienced timeouts or difficulty accessing the service during this window. We apologise for any inconvenience. To prevent future incidence, University IT infrastructure have increased memory for the appropriate server.

    Noteable users are currently unable to start new notebooks. This appears to be due to an issue in the underlying cluster. University IT are investigating.

    This issue was caused by a certificate update in the cluster. It has now been resolved by university IT and normal service is resumed.
