Update timeline

  1. investigating Jan 27, 2022, 06:42 PM UTC

We have noticed degraded connectivity to popular websites such as YouTube, OpenDNS and a few others. It appears that routes are flapping on an upstream provider’s network. We have submitted a ticket and will continue to monitor the situation.

  2. identified Jan 27, 2022, 08:12 PM UTC

An issue on an upstream transit provider's network has been identified. They are aware of the issue and have suggested that we de-peer with them until they have fixed their connectivity. We have dropped our BGP session with them.

  3. monitoring Jan 27, 2022, 08:13 PM UTC

All connectivity should be normal now, our NOC will continue to monitor the situation throughout the day. We will restore our BGP session with the effected provider once they have fixed their issue.
