What is happening: The Ikeono browser extension is showing an error, POS Deposit Employee ID, this field may not be null. What is causing this: Yesterday, browsers implemented new requirements for browser extensions which prevent them from interacting with a certain parts of a website's backend, which is how we pull the employee ID to add the deposit in Lightspeed via their API. What we have done so far: We have pushed an update to disable deposits so that you can send invoices without an error. These invoices will not add as a deposit in Lightpseed. What we are doing to resolve the issue: We are implementing a new Employee selection on the deposit configuration page in your Ikeono Account Settings. This way we have an employee to add the deposit with.

We have implemented a fix for this issue, which will require users to update their Ikeono Deposits configuration to now have a default employee associated with these invoices to automatically add as a deposit. Users will be prompted to update their configuration when creating a new invoice, otherwise this can be updated in Account Settings > Payments > Deposits
