Object Storage is working again without impact. But we are still on monitoring.

  3. resolved Jun 24, 2026, 09:52 PM UTC

Today, beginning around 12:00, our Object Storage experienced degraded availability and reduced performance. A similar event occurred last weekend. We apologize for any inconvenience. Our Object Storage runs on a Ceph cluster. Due to sustained strong platform growth, cluster utilization increased faster than anticipated, and Ceph responds to high capacity usage with reduced performance by design. Procuring additional hardware on short notice was complicated by the currently strained hardware market, which delayed our planned expansion. Sufficient hardware is now available, and we are expanding the cluster since end of last week with additional Ceph nodes. The required data sync runs in the background and temporarily adds load to the cluster. During this sync phase, brief performance fluctuations may still occur over the coming days. Once the sync completes, we expect significantly improved, stable performance with sufficient capacity headroom. We will keep you updated here.
