Critical November 18, 2025

We are experiencing problems with purchases

Detected by Pingoru
Nov 18, 2025, 12:13 PM UTC
Resolved
Nov 18, 2025, 02:46 PM UTC
Duration
2h 32m
Affected: Payments
Timeline · 5 updates
  1. identified Nov 18, 2025, 12:13 PM UTC

We are experiencing issues with all purchases (new purchases and upgrades) due to an upstream error with Cloudflare. Making a new purchase results in an error message. Upgrades in the account page give no visible error, but no upgrades are made. We advise you not to attempt any purchases until this is resolved.

  2. identified Nov 18, 2025, 12:33 PM UTC

We see that errors occur intermittently. Some orders are processed, but others result in an error. We still advise you to wait until the next update (in about 15 minutes) before placing a new order.

  3. identified Nov 18, 2025, 12:55 PM UTC

The situation is still unstable, with the checkout working correctly for the majority of cases, but occasional errors still occur. There are no adverse effects from trying other than having to retry if you encounter an error.

  4. identified Nov 18, 2025, 01:54 PM UTC

Cloudflare allegedly has found the reason. We are waiting for a fix. Unfortunately, in the meantime, the success rate for the checkout has deteriorated again.

  5. resolved Nov 18, 2025, 02:46 PM UTC

Cloudflare reported that they have deployed a fix that they believe addresses this issue. You should be able to make payments normally again. If you still encounter any issues, please write to [email protected] or contact us in chat.

Major October 20, 2025

We are experiencing problems with PDF conversions

Detected by Pingoru
Oct 20, 2025, 04:43 PM UTC
Resolved
Oct 20, 2025, 07:38 PM UTC
Duration
2h 55m
Affected: Flipbooks conversion
Timeline · 5 updates
  1. identified Oct 20, 2025, 04:43 PM UTC

There is a confirmed problem with the conversion process from PDFs to flipbooks, caused by Amazon's AWS global outage. This can result in the conversion process taking longer than usual, not finishing at all, or failing with error messages. This is a top-priority issue for us and will keep you informed about any progress. We advise you do NOT launch additional conversion tasks as this will only create additional flipbooks when everything is processed.

  2. identified Oct 20, 2025, 05:31 PM UTC

Conversion progress remains very slow as Amazon throttled the number of resources we can use severly. If you have started a conversion job, then we advise you not to cancel and start a new job. This will put you back at the back of the queue.

  3. identified Oct 20, 2025, 06:04 PM UTC

We continue to have limited converion capability and advise you to only upload the PDFs that you urgently need to convert and then be patient and don't cancel them. Average queueing time is currently about 45 minutes

  4. monitoring Oct 20, 2025, 07:24 PM UTC

Service is resuming and we see the backlog in conversion tasks is now dropping

  5. resolved Oct 20, 2025, 07:38 PM UTC

    This incident has been resolved.
