Quick payment links have been restored for firms that used them before the interruption. As part of this, older custom payment links that include a specific client, invoice, amount or email need to be reissued from Settings > Billing > Payment Links. Links on firm websites and in email signatures continue to work as before. As part of our security improvements, sign-in using an invoice number and client number is no longer available. Clients who used this option can still access the portal and pay by creating a username and password with the email address on file with their firm, by using a Quick Payment Link, or by having their firm resend their invoice. These features remain temporarily unavailable: - Magic link sign-in (clients who normally sign in with a magic link will need to use their username and password) - Firm staff’s ability to “Log in as client” We’ll post another update as each of these is restored. Thank you for your patience.

Firm staff’s ability to “Log in as client” has been restored. Firm users can once again access the Client Portal on behalf of a client, including to update autopay or recurring payment plans. This feature remains temporarily unavailable: - Magic link sign-in (clients who normally sign in with a magic link will need to use their username and password) We’ll post another update when it’s restored. Thank you for your patience.

Magic link sign-in (passwordless login) has been restored. Clients can once again sign in to the Client Portal with a magic link or with their username and password. All Firm and Client Portal features affected by the interruption are now available. As shared previously, sign-in using an invoice number and client number is no longer available. Clients can pay using the Pay button in their invoice email, a Quick Payment Link (for firms that use them), or by signing in to the Client Portal. To create a new Client Portal account, clients must use an email address that matches a contact record on file with their firm. If a client can’t register, the firm can confirm or update the email on that client’s contact record. Staging environment access is being restored for customers. Thank you for your patience while we restored these features.
