It has been brought to our attention that Microsoft Entra ID (Formally Azure AD) is misclassifying our 66.85.134.1/25 IP address space as originating from Aberdeen, Hong Kong, HK. If you experience issues with your clients using Office 365 applications, please make sure to add either the entire /25 or your NAT IP to the conditional access whitelist. Unfortunately, IP geolocation data is not 100% reliable as no master record exists, and companies may create their own lists or source data from multiple lists. Adeptcloud has no control over how providers classify our IP space. All publicly available databases we checked show it correctly, ARIN information appears correctly, and AS numbers all show up correctly. We are posting this update for informational purposes, as this is not related to any Adeptcloud infrastructure but rather to how one vendor's database might classify it. You can read more about IP Geolocation and how sometimes issues like this may be caused here: https://www.arin.net/vault/blog/2018/06/11/ip-geolocation-the-good-the-bad-the-frustrating/#:~:text=The%20good%3A%20IP%20geolocation%20at,often%20it%27ll%20be%20wrong.
