IEP4Schools had been unavailable due to an expired certificate. The cause of the expiration was traced back to some automation code which had been altered for troubleshooting, and not restored to normal use. At the same time, we discovered that some changes had been made by a monitoring/alerting service provider, which resulted in a failure to alert technical staff. The original outage has been corrected, and improvements are planned for certificate management, monitoring, and alerting.
