Root Cause Analysis: Service Interruption — October 21, 2026 Incident Summary On October 21, 2026, Zingtree experienced a service interruption from 10:26:52 a.m. to 10:36:26 a.m. EDT, lasting approximately 10 minutes. Service has been fully restored. Customer Impact During this period, users were unable to log in or access published workflows. No data was lost or exposed. Root Cause A web application firewall configuration update inadvertently blocked legitimate traffic, making the service unavailable. Resolution Our monitoring alerted the team to the issue. We reverted the configuration change, restoring service at 10:36:26 a.m. EDT. Preventive Actions We will strengthen change management procedures for security configuration updates by requiring additional review and validation in a staging environment before production deployment.
