The engineering team identified a load spike in the Apache service, which resulted in the web portal becoming unresponsive. The root cause of the load spike was traced to an error within the API, which was promptly diagnosed and isolated. Following the resolution of the API issue, the Apache service was restarted, successfully restoring functionality to the manager portal.
