Since approximately 20:23 UTC, an upstream satellite issue has been resulting in a degraded quality of precipitation products (real-time and forecast) for locations without radar coverage globally. Classic precipitation data is affected across the CONUS, Caribbean, South America, along with additional locations globally.

We are experiencing delayed FOCUS CONUS mid-range forecast data (roughly +1h15m through +12h) due to an upstream data outage. Impacts will be stale or delayed data for Nextgen customers during this time period. Short-range (+15m–+1h) and six-hourly extended (+12h–+42h) FOCUS CONUS outputs are not produced by this service and are still be available.

We are currently experiencing an issue affecting a portion of our satellite weather data beginning at approximately 05:05 UTC. Impact: Customers may experience degraded or missing real-time and nowcast precipitation data in areas without radar coverage across parts of eastern Europe, western and central Asia (including India), and Africa. Affected products: Classic and NextGen UP-Europe, UP-India, UP-Israel, and UP-Global. Weather data for western Europe and western Africa is not impacted.

We are currently experiencing delays in upstream satellite data. As a result, some customers may experience degraded or delayed real-time and nowcast precipitation data in non-radar regions across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Our team is actively monitoring the upstream data feed. Data has begun flowing again, and we expect service to return to normal within approximately 30 minutes. We will provide another update once the recovery is complete.

Between 00:30–01:30 UTC and 06:00–07:15 UTC, customers may have experienced increased Timeline API latency, delayed monitor calculations, and a small increase in API errors due to an issue affecting an underlying platform component. The issue has been resolved, and all services are operating normally. Overall customer impact was limited, and service levels remained within our SLA.
