Zoom transcripts default to Arabic for some users
Tactiq experienced a major incident on January 31, 2024 affecting Tactiq Transcription for Zoom, lasting 1d 13h. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

We are urgently investigating an issue where, for some users, Zoom transcripts start in Arabic. The workaround for the moment is to go to Zoom's live captions settings after Tactiq has started transcribing and to change the language there.

We have submitted a new release to the Chrome Web Store and to the Microsoft Add-Ons. We will update this page when their reviews have been completed.
