We have identified the issue. Our team is working on a fix.

We’ve identified the root cause of an issue impacting Tactiq transcription in Google Meet. As a result, some customers may experience transcription not starting. A fix is ready and has been submitted to the Chrome Web Store. We’re currently waiting for Chrome Web Store (CWS) approval before it can be rolled out. Workaround: In the meantime, you can enable the Tactiq extension by clicking CC in the Google meet. This helps transcription start. We apologize for the inconvenience and will share further updates as soon as the extension update is approved and available. Tactiq emails are currently experiencing delays, including email magic link sign-in messages and transcription meeting notifications. Users who sign in by emailed magic links have been experiencing long waits to receive their sign-in link. We’ve identified an issue causing delays in emails triggered by user actions, including sign-in magic links. If you're waiting for a sign-in email or another notification, it may take longer than usual to arrive. The issue has been identified, and the fix was submitted to the Chrome Web Store for review and approval. We will update this when it goes live.

We are still waiting for Google’s review. In the meantime, you can restore transcription by following this workaround: Double-click the “CC” (Closed Captions) button in the Tactiq widget to enable transcription.
