  1. investigating Jul 24, 2026, 09:06 PM UTC

We're aware that a small number of customers on Outlook accounts have individual messages in their inbox that can't be marked done, archived, deleted, or moved to junk, the action returns a "failed" error and the message stays put. We're actively investigating and will continue to post updates here as we learn more.

  2. resolved Jul 24, 2026, 11:29 PM UTC

After a significant investigation, we've confirmed this was not a widespread outage. A small number of Microsoft/Outlook customers had individual messages that couldn't be marked done, archived, deleted, or moved to junk. This happened when a specific message had already been moved or removed on the mail provider's side, leaving an out-of-date copy in Superhuman that the affected action couldn't act on. It was limited to those specific messages rather than triage as a whole. Our metrics confirm mail syncing and triage were operating normally throughout, with only a small number of customers affected. We're following up directly with those customers, and we're tracking a longer-term improvement so these stale messages resolve on their own. Thanks for your patience.
