Early this morning, we identified that PayPal orders specifically returned a billing error of "unexpected_error" last night. We are actively investigating, and waiting to hear back from PayPal about this issue. We will continue to update status as this issue is resolved.

We have identified that the charge errors for orders with PayPal as their payment method is attributed to a global PayPal outage. This morning we identified that an "unexpected\_error" billing issue for PayPal payment methods was causing an uptick on failed billing events.
